The Steels' Bio

Freddie Steel: Chicago, Illinois, United States; Freddie and Mary Gaye Kirk Steel were born and raised in West Virginia, children of church planters and revivalists. Freddie and Mary Gaye have a very rich ministerial heritage with ancestors including archbishops in the Catholic, Reformed, Evangelical and the Charismatic/Pentecostal traditions, some dating back hundreds of years, making significant contributions affecting nations, the founding of this nation and generations. The Steels have served as youth pastors, evangelists, associate pastors, college dean, church planters and bishop. Both are credentialed ministers in the Church of God, Cleveland, Tennessee. Mary Gaye's music ministry has blessed many. While one of her great loves is choral conducting, her solo ministry has included national and international gatherings and guest appearances with members of the Gaither's Homecoming Members and on local, national and international television appearances. The Steels have one child, Kaitlind, who also shares her Mother's music and creative talents.
